The Scots Crown on the tower of All Hallows Church
was constructed in 1807 and hence 2007 is the bicentenary of this
delightful landmark. To mark this occasion Tillington organised a
spectacular weekend Festival on 22nd, 23rd and 24th of June 2007.
The weekend was a tremendous success. All the ticketed events (Fernhurst
Choral Society, Instant Sunshine, Celebrity Lunch and Willie Austen)
were a sell out and in spite of the rain large crowds turned out for the
Saturday street event, with the Horse Guards, and the celebrity cricket
match.
